GOCHUJANG/RED PEPPER PASTE
Gochujang is a Korean chili sauce that is similar to our curry paste. It has a smooth, thick texture and is juicy with a salty, sweet and spicy taste. The main ingredients are red chili peppers, fermented soybeans, glutinous rice flour and various seasonings that are mixed together and left to marinate for the required time. It can be used in a variety of dishes such as kimchi fried rice, kimchi soup, Korean chicken, Korean bibimbap, spread on grilled meat or as a dip for vegetables.
